Why do fans, hate the coaches?

If you go on message boards across the league, about 80% of the fans want their team to fire the coach. Steeler fans are calling for Tomlins head. Lmao. A guy goes to two SBs in 4 years (at the time), wins one, has ONE bad year, and the fans are pissed. We know Rivera sucks, but has anybody noticed this? Why?

because sometimes coaches suck and because sometimes forum posters suck and make stupid threads

i kind of feel like the OP falls somewhere into one of these categories

Because coaches can be replaced if you really want to. It's much harder to replace players.

This is a losing season, so someone has to pay (whether it's the right move or not).

PIT's fatal flaw this year, they're 3-4 against sub-.500 teams. The last time they missed the playoffs in 09 they also had some headscratcher losses against double digit loss teams (KC, CLE, OAK). So it leads some fans to think that the Steelers are going to play down to their competition (however warranted it may be)
