Why does Cam have so many haters?

Tommy kelly was trying to take Cam out from jealousy. Kelly is mad he cant release clothes and do cool celebrations like Cam. Imagine how fuging stupid Kelly would look if he tried releasing his own cleats and t-shirts and hats and socks nobody would fuging buy them and Kelly knows that which is why he was bitter and trying cheap shots on Cam today.

IMO, a lot of players hate Cam because of the media. And, some of them know by stopping him, they stop the Panthers. I also believe some folks on the Panthers hate Cam for the same reason, to much media attention.

I believe the media hates Cam because some of them are die hard Bama fans and others for some sick reason and without any proof, still feel he got away with something when he was at Auburn. I remembered reading some articles about the whole media created pay-for play scandal, and all I kept saying was, it sounds like the media is intentionally making more out of this story to sink a school. And, since the school didn't go down after all their many "questions" about Cam's father's role in the story, they took their wrath out on Cam.

But, I do believe the one who gave the media ammunition against Cam was Peter King. Remember this was the same person who tweeted in the same tweeted that started the silly media firestorm over Cam's statement that he sees himself one day as a "Entertianer and Icon," Cam was a "nice and polite kid" and that he was looking forward to hanging with him at the Combines. Funny how quickly that changed when Mike, from PFT, pulled the tweet and made so much out of it while giving Peter his 15 minutes of fame. Peter did a 180 when he realize how much his tweet was creating a firestorm and threw Cam under the bus for the media to roll over.

Evenmore sad are the many, both in and out of the sports world, who have been playing copy-cat ever since that famous King's "entertainer/Icon" moment by turning every ish Cam says or does into their own Gotcha moment. Even King, himself, seem to be longing for that level of attention again and is doing his best to take every says and does and over-dramatize it. Just like he did with the incident with the Ref.

And some of you refuse to believe that these men in our media egos aren't bigger than some of the players.

Why do people hate Brees? Romo? Vick? Roethlisberger? Brady? The Golden Calf of Bristol? Finnegan? RGIII (look no further than this board)? Luck? Cutler? DeAngelo Hall? Matt Ryan?

You people act like Cam is getting treated different.

Homers. Not enough sighs in the world.

Why does it seem as if so of Cam's biggest hate come from some of the Panthers' fans themselves? Some of you seem like you only bring yourself to like Cam for what he does for the team but don't seem to like him as a person. Why is that?

In all honesty, it a legit question that is being asked. No one has gotten the level of hate from the media as Cam, out of the group of QB you've mentioned, except for Vick. And we all know where that hate stemmed from.

And please don't tell me Ben was hated by the media because I remember how Ben was all but ignored while the sports media took their wrath out on Tiger Woods, as if he was the first golfer to ever cheat on his wife. If it wasn't for Ben's suspension after the second accusation, nothing would have been made of the rape case, just like the first one.

Fans hating on QBs and players wanting each other is far different than when so many in the sports media seem to want a pound of Cam's flesh at every turn.

Cam = starting QB of an NFL Franchise

Cam = emerging sex symbol for the next generation

Cam = next evolution of QB in the NFL

Cam = successful young man with lots of money

Yep, can't figure out why anyone outside of the Carolina's hates this guy. I thought this was understood but ill say it anyway....

Damn I should've made my post here, but here it is. From another thread:

There's definate racism involved when Cam gets criticised when you compare it to other QBs. I just think RG3 is the token QB that the media leans on to say "see? we aren't racist". Cam gets criticised on every little small thing he does. Literally. From not patting a teammate on the shoulder for recovering a fumble to the dead horse towel on the head. The media just doesn't like a confident, alliterate, charasmatic, sharp looking black QB that can do more with the football than most white counterparts. It may not be for all of the media, but it's definately the case for at least half of the bs we hear about him.
