Lol that article talks about a suspension. The NFL is a business before it's a sport and the NFL know's that if they suspend Newton that no one and I mean no one will watch the game next week.

Id like to see what our backup quarterback Anederson has left in the tank

What better time to see it?

hey guys there's this up and coming unknown quarterback who most definitely hasn't started for two different teams and absolutely was not a minor NFL celebrity when he actually led the sad sack browns to an extremely rare winning season a few years ago. he also did not play in the pro bowl after tom brady backed out.

we should give him a shot and see what he has.

WTF??? Man, get a new team, there are 31 others to choose from...people switch all the time, we wish you and your new team well...honestly.

there are enough run of the mill game managers out there to whack off to

i guess derek anderson is slowly but surely filling the matt moore-sized emotional void left in the heart of this fanbase

my only concern is he does that jump shot move with cam after he scores a touchdown and i think it's related to gangs or satanism. probably both though

The comments people are making about this game and cam in general on other sites and this one are "mind-bottling". I just don't understand what this kid has to do? Win a Super Bowl while defeating terrorism and solving world hunger and paying off the national debt? People suck.

Yep this forum is full of a bunch of racisist if it was delhomme aka a 5 foot ten white guy ,that would have been defending himself , but cus he is 6'5 and 250 its ok and. Cam is immature "thug". My ass ypu racist bastards.

I can't tell if you're trying to be sarcastic or not here, but if you aren't, I can tell you you're "misremembering" a bit.

Delhomme argued with refs all the time, and half the board (pretty much the same folks who criticized him no matter what he did) called him a whiny b--ch because of it.

Me? I don't care if it's Delhomme, Newton, Anderson, Clausen or Jeff Lewis. I want my quarterback arguing with the refs. That's part of the game.

He just needs to refrain from touching them when he does it.

The etire defense was upset with the officiating. Cam was upset with the officiating. The opposing team was upset with the officiating. Even the announcers were upset with the officiating. Yet, Cam is called out for voicing his displeasure? What kind of support is that? I my opinion, the coaches, players and fans for both teams deserve an apology for such a poor performance by the officials... or someone should kick the refs dog, but don't lay down and take it when EVERYONE is complaining about the same thing!
