NFL Network just call Peter King out for saying on NBC FootballTonight that Steve Meriucchi was in line for Norv Turner's job in San Diego. Steve said that Peter King is a friend of his and that he hasn't talk to him about a coaching job. He also said that he would never comment on a job where the coach was still in play plus him and Norv Turner are friends and he would never comment on his job. Deion said what kind of friend is Peter King for lying on Steve Meriucchi. They also commented on Greg Hardy's hit and Deion said what was wrong with that hit plus they also commented on the Raider player comment about hurting Cam but they didn't elaborate on that.

steve mariucci just seemed to get kind of pissed off on NFL network because it was mentioned on the air that his "close friend" (or so he says) peter king had reported a rumor from an "inside source" that he was interested in the chargers job. mariucci make it very clear that norv turner was a friend of his and he wouldn't talk about that when the position was still filled.

King is a great writer and he's someone I've followed and looked up to for a while, but his villification of Cam has really irked me.

I come down on Cam all the time man I'm just tired of people jumping his poo for non legit reasons and people with their agendas being punk asses.

The game today got on my nerves with the refs and the Raiders apparently trying to really take Cam out. We should be happy for the holiday so I apologize for being a bit edgy/wrong tonight :(
