Hahaha "not to toot my own horn but, BRAG BRAG BRAG".

Cam newton was a no brainer. Anyone that knew our coach was Ron Rovera and that our owner is JR knew that we were drafting Kuechly months in advance if he was available.

Oh, hey, I called the Amini Silatolu pick while we're bragging. CHECK MA MOCK GUYZ!

Yea buddy

To me Brandon is a capable number two, personally my guy is Marquis Lee (USC, unanimous All-American and winner of the Biletnikoff Award) so I can wait another year.

We have seen what this offense can do (with the pieces we have in place now) when Chud calls a good game. This offense can make it to the playoffs with the the wide outs and tight ends it has.

I personally would like to focus on shoring up the offensive line, defensive line, and secondary. If we fix those three things in this years draft and free agency, then I personally would trade up to draft Marquis Lee (much like Atlanta did with Julio Jones last year).

Yea I guess I really can wait another year to take a WR in a better draft class. I mean when you look at two of the better NFC team and even in the NFL itself in Seattle and SF, both of these team doesn't have your best receivers. They're your old school, punch you in the mouth football teams. Rivera if still here next season should really focus on strengthening our Defense and being more physical there especially on the secondary. We need to focus more on having a power running game to set us for the passing game. We could still win games without a lot of help at receivers if we can ball like Seattle and SF.

Dude.. not really called for. I like to hear all sorts of opinions, and base them against my own. I don't claim to be an expert by any means, but it's fun to do. Why trash him for this?

It's just really funny man, I don't think the huddle is for you if you can't handle that.

Lol roadwood, I knew a about Cam Newton right after he committed to Auburn out of Blinn I even made a thread for Cam in October (7 months before the NFL draft) asking people to look at Cam instead of Luck (you were probably one of the Luck homers anyway lol).

Just admit it, you don't know more about the game of football than anyone else.

You don't have to pretend you're a know it all.

Dude do you realize how hypocritical you sound?

You tell me to shut up and stop acting like I know everything and that when YOU are the one going around in every thread trying to brag about yourself to make it seem like you're some expert.

I can sit here all day and say I called every pick we ever made too. It's fugging easy to predict a top 10 pick lol, matter fact if you can't do that by march than you probably aren't much of a talent evaluater.

Get off your high horse and stop being a hypocrite.

I'm not doing that at all, I actually give people compliments and I don't try to talk down on them. I was only being a dick to you (about the football stuff) because you started talking down to myself, chuck, and others. Let's just forget about it and call it water under the bridge.

Note: Just because we don't agree with you doesn't mean we don't care what you have to say.

It's not talking down, this is a fugging forum, an Internet forum for a football team. If you can't handle criticism or name calling than you are too unstable to be on here, period.

If you say something dumb like "oh we should draft this kid because every other year they seem to produce one average player" I'm going to laugh at you.

I don't think chuck meant it like that though, however I know he is hard to understand sometimes (sorry chuck) lol.

Yes he is very difficult to understand, and he doesn't realize that. That's why he thinks I'm always trying to hate on him. He simply is so difficult to understand and makes such ridiculous statements that I constantly have to ask for an explanation.

Lol.. I've been "handling" the huddle since it started up. I just wanted to know why you were being the way you were.

Never mind about it though, your response tells me all I needed to know and more. Have a good day, and Merry Christmas.

    • I'd give it a C mainly because of Brooks.  If we just didn't have a 2nd I'd argue B to B+ tbh. Brooks was a bad gamble, tho one that could still pay off long term. Yes XL only has 400 yards but... Look who is throwing him the ball. And I think he isn't a "true #1" but he's been able to consistently get open. Hands definitely need to be cleaned up.  But he should end the year with 500-600 yards. Like you said - Sanders looks great.  Get him a better QB / more time with a QB and I think he's gonna impress. We added a couple rotational players on D that have both made plays and show promise for the future from later rounds. So I'd say, Brooks really hurts this drafts grade. It'll be interesting to see how it progresses over the next 3 years. I've overall really liked Morgan's FA acquisitions, so...
    • Oh he would absolutely flourish. It’s the panthers way. It’s no different with coaches. Sometimes they reach their expiration date, go somewhere else, and find new success.  Similarly to Burns, how long to wait for the light to finally turn on?  Market forces will demand a salary that the panthers can not responsibly match. Sliding him to guard will fit his skill set better, but he has played LT for 3 years. He will receive offers from other teams wanting to pay him LT money.  At guard, he won’t start with what they have paid Hunt and Lewis. Center then?? Dunno. Maybe? He will become a backup by default once they draft their stud LT. I doubt Dan just stands pat. That’s not his MO.  So where does this put him? Can you match what other teams will offer for a backup LT/guard? Do you dish out franchise LT $ on a guy who still needs significant improvement in pass protection. This team will be DOA in the playoffs with the very first team who has a formidable speed rusher. What if he has hit his ceiling in pass protection already and they sign him long term? It’s a big gamble either way.
    • We're in a great position to see just how big of a misstep it would be, having made so many ourselves
