What's in your liquor cabinet?

Here is the basic cabinet. It's got your basic rums, vodkas, tequilas and mixers, etc.

Then the better cabinet has your good cognacs, scotches, etc.

And a couple of bottles that wouldn't fit on the shelf...

And the last cabinet has a ton of various wines, some cheap Hennessy, a couple of 1.75 Crowns, and various weird liquors that have been given to me over the years or left here after a party. I didn't take a picture of that shelf because it also has a box of Almond Joy individual coffee creamers and some light bulbs, so it doesn't look as nice. I also have some patron and some grey goose, etc. in my standing freezer in the garage.

Oddly enough, the wife and I don't drink all that much.

was at the abc store today to purchase some scotch and did some window shopping.....

Glenlivet 21 750 mil. $154.95

JW Blue 750 mil. $299.95

McCallan 25 750 mil. $899.95

McCallan 30 750 mil. $1,700.00

so.....I picked up my usual Speyburn (Bradan Orach) Highland single malt 750 mil. $19.95

$300 for JW Blue is a joke. The Costco by my house sells it for $160. And it's decent sipping scotch but not worth the hype it gets. I've had macallan 25 and thought it was great, but the 18 is the most expensive that I can enjoy on a somewhat regular basis.

picked up a bottle of abuelo dark rum in panama and some shitty peach liqueur in ecuador. my bar is slowly getting stocked full

I always have a Talisker 18 in there - my favorite scotch. Usually also have Kettle One and Sapphire for martinis.

The ABC store on 3rd doesn't carry Talisker - so I drive down to Frugal once a month and stock.

Wine fridge with 30 or 40 bottles for aging plus another case of cheap stuff for near term drinking.

In the man cave is a handle of Smirnoff which I sip on almost daily. A bottle of Bombay Saffire. A bottle of Jamesons.

In the pantry are misc. things like Kalua, vermouth and sych
