Has JR made any Comments on the Perturbed PSL holders?

richardson doesn't talk to the media much

several "perturbed PSL holders" took out an anonymous full page ad ripping richardson/the panthers/rivera in the charlotte observer.

Claimed to be several.

In reality, it was more likely just one guy trying to look more important than he really is by claiming to have a bunch of important supporters behind him.

I'm not buying because nobody signed it (and from what I've seen, that's a pretty common response).

Agreed. It's not worth a response.

And I seriously doubt it was a player or one of his sons. More likely just some dumbass who wanted everyone to think he had a bunch of important people behind him. Right now it looks like his attempt at attention whoring fell flat.

pretty much, and like that guy that registered to post in this thread said, JR doesn't talk to the press much. he's more of a direct one on one guy but apparently the guy that wrote that letter didn't have the balls to try and talk to him or send a message to the team with a way to be reached.

rather than be a man about it he'd rather spend whatever it takes to take out a full page ad in the charlotte observer (lol on him for thinking really anyone reads papers anymore).

how many people in here have complained to the panthers about what's going on only to have JR or morrison or one of the other top guys call him back?

people probably still laugh at kalil for putting that page ad in the paper, but at least he had the balls to attach his name to it.

having money ≠ having testicles

being a "business executive" doesn't mean you know jack about running a business.

Definitely doesn't mean you know jack about running a football team.

Yeah the person didn't sign his name to it. Also, I was listening to WFNZ and an older caller went on record saying that he knows the main person behind the letter very well and the guy who wrote didn't want to disclose his name because of credibility issues. According to the caller, the guy doesn't have the best job and has a checkered past. He felt using his name would make it him a target for unwanted criticism.

Another thing - JR doesn't need to address this. I wouldn't. Nothing good from acknowledging this could come from it. If and when Mr. Richardson is asked about it, he simply needs to give the text book answer of: Well, I haven't read the article but I want to win and want to give a reason for our fans to be excited. We feel we are making excellent football decisions. Yada yada yada.

Mr. Richardson isn't exactly an easy interview so I'm sure we'll never hear a personal response from him.

It was a lone ranger, or at best, a small group of friends that thought they were being cute. No "business leaders" (as they referred to themselves) would take out a full-page advertisement, name themselves something as obscure and awkward as the "Perturbed Panthers PSL Owners Federation" so they could remain anonymous, and then construct such a poorly-written, sarcastic letter. No business leader(s) in Charlotte would throw around the term "pyramid-scheme" in reference to Mr. Richardson's business as Panthers owner. Business leaders don't do crap like this, and certainly don't question the business practices or motives or a man that has done many wonderful things for the Charlotte region.

Is the original poster even a fan of the Panthers? Do they even know anything about JR? He isn't responding. No need for a huge thread about this.

I guess you want me to give a run down, on how much of a fan I am of the Carolina Panthers. I guess I could even give my blog address that is strictly for the Carolina Panthers and how I took my time to actually create a blog.

I am assuming that you haven't done anything outside to support your team. Have been to a Panthers game in the first section from the field, or have you been in a luxury suite at the game?

I only started this thread to get others input and see how they feel about the after of the ad that was placed.

That part's pretty easy.

We think the whole thing was stupid and doesn't deserve a response.

This guy's 15 minutes are up.

I don't think "we" as you stated, represents everyone thus some gave an honest opinion. I don't have to engage how you want me too and for you to think, I have to post the things you like is self serving.

(translation?)

Have you seen anyone speak positively about it in this thread?

Ok, well, the thing that you aren't understanding, I wasn't looking for someone to love the article, first and foremost. I wanted Rivera gone as well, but I thought the ad was out of line personally. But, I know that sometimes the best response is a no response. I would like for someone to ask the big cat that in an interview whether now or later just to see his response.

So I am going to assume, if JR does address the ad if he is approached about, you will won't even listen to his response because you think it would be beneath him to respond. Am I understanding this correctly?

---- update -----

Also, I honestly believe that JR is trying to put a good product on the field that is why he got rid of Marty Hurney because he hasn't put the best product on the field or ensured that things needed to change before his dismissal. At some point the ad is going to come up and JR is going to have to respond someway.
