I Created My Own QB Metric, Tell Me What You Think

If anyone is curious, this is Brady Quinn's metric: http://50.116.44.142/qba/?player=player-29

That lone 84+ effort? Against us of course.

And here's Cammy Cam: http://50.116.44.142/qba/?player=player-24

His worst game is actually rated as the Bears, followed closesly by Seattle, then the Giants, and Denver. His strong recent push is also evident.

It's only counted as part of total yardage and total TDs, and not treated differently otherwise. If it was weighted at all Tom Brady would not be at the top of the season QBA.

It's a conspiracy, you Cam homer arrrggghh!!!!!!!

No seriously though, good stuff man. Keep us updated.

I just noticed that my database had sack yardage entered as negatives, but I was subtracting them in the calculation. Therefore, it was ADDING sack yardage to the QB's total yardage. That's now fixed, and now the correlation between QBA and wins is even higher at 79%. Peyton Manning also takes over the top spot for the season (Matt Moore's lone game excluded.)
