Did Cam have a sophmore slump or did Chud?

I tend to agree...it's a bit of both.

While Cam still is overthrowing some balls and Chud continues to call some boneheaded plays at times, the frequency for both has been limited the past few weeks.

They've been able to slow the game down. Apart from the Chiefs game, the Panthers have been excellent in the time of possession and on 3rd downs. Cam is throwing shorter passes to maximize the gains achieved for each down and Chud has been showing more of a commitment to the power running game.

It's just a shame all this didn't happen sooner.

I don't think saying they put too much on his plate is throwing him under the bus.

Stupid people who don't follow the panthers and hate cam because they think he is a selfish primadonna assume "simplifying the offense" meant Cam wasn't smart enough to play QB so we went to a college system, when actually we are simplifying by making it closer to pro-style.

You can look at the pass that Cam threw against Seattle into the dirt at the 1 yard line and see that his mechanics were way off. He was throwing 10 feet over the receivers head missing wide open guys and playing poorly. Secondly how many times has Newton come back in the last 5 minutes of a game to win it on a pressure drive. I can't think of many at all.

I believe the Seattle game was Cam's worst as a pro. As for that play at the end, the play was busted from the start. A linebacker just happened to slip; that's the only reason Hartsock was open in the first place. The throw itself was desperation on a surprise receiver when Cam was running for his life. Of course his mechanics were going to be off.

As far as game winning drives, he's led us up the field on several occasions, but other things have happened outside of Cam's control. Goodson going east-west instead of north-south on 4th down in week 1 last season. Mare missing an easy fieldgoal against the Vikings. The aforementioned throw to the dirt...
