If someone told you through 14 games

Cams stats would be 3451 yards 8.16 yards per attempt(second in the nfl) 18 touchdowns 10 interceptions 647 yards rushing and 7 touchdowns

.

Smitty already has another 1000 yard season.

Our defense would be ranked in the top 10 and hardy and johnson both already have double digit sacks and kuechly is the favorite for defensive rookie of the year.

What would you of guessed our record would be?

We still managed to currently be 9th in the league.

That is because of Cam....

I'm talking about lining up and pounding the rock....taking some of the pressure OFF of Cam and the passing game.

The read option stupid plays have hindered the team all year long.

Take away our quarterbacks 647 yards then tell me where we rank.

Cam can't be the entire running game every season, unless you are content with him having a short career.

running game is a running game. doesn't matter who's putting it up. now you could argue the amount of money we are paying RBs to carry the ball less is an issue, but when they're in they do all right...at least lately.

doesn't matter to me that the QB is leading the team in rushing and it's not surprising because it's the guy who has the ball in his hands most the time and it's cam frikkin newton.

don't blame the read option.

Are you trolling me lol.

You seriously have no issue with risking Cam by making him the leading rusher when we have three good RB's?

Come on Rayzor you are better than this.

We had the potential and opportunity's to have a winning record.

The coaches failed, and the team blew some good plays.

We aren't a bad team

We just did bad coming into the season.

That's why I think, with this late season improvement, that with some renovations, 2013 has ridiculous potential.

I said that about 2012, but whatever. I'm saying it again.

Winning record in 2013, and playoffs.

    • I honestly think this coming season is his make or break year. I have noticed some press conferences where Dan and Dave have made some interesting comments when asked about bryces future and upcoming contract and they've basically said they're not thinking about that or factoring it in at all.  Hopefully he continues to improve, that is our best bet.   The conspiracy theorist in me thinks they have already start preparing if he doesn't make another jump this year. The thing that have made me wonder, while doing some detective work.  The Redshirt freshman from South Carolina, Lanorris Sellers.  He has crazy potential and improved greatly throughout the season last year.  I saw we had 11 south carolina players in for our top 30s including 5 or 6 that were expected to go undrafted.  It's a bit of a conspiracy theory but could they already be doing a lot of research on Sellers by talking to his teammates.  Again, I'm not a Bryce hater and I think the best option is he continues to make a jump this season.  It's just something that has stood out to me.
    • AT cant' get open either.  He is just a savvy old guy eating on up all the slot reps.  The fact he seperate and run lower the entire ceiling of a Bryce Young O.  As does the fact we get below league average production out of the backfield in the pass game when we go to it.  since the moment we drafted Bryce, I have banged the drum slot WR, rec RB, and TE would be the most important things we could do to build around Bryce.  We have done basically the polar opposite.  It's why I call the Tepper era random parts.
    • yeah...very favorable remarks from what i've heard.  seems everyone was also very surprised with the TMac pick.  that video was funny "he lied to my face"
