I can't understand why everyone is so butt hurt over this ad. Someone, be it a group or individual, spent quite a bit of money to express their opinion as they have every right to do.

Are all of you going to tell me that none of their points have merit? Is there maybe some truth in what has been written? So what's the problem?

I find it telling that some of the PSL owners that have posted in this thread have no problem with the ad, while many that do not own PSL's think it is blasphemous. I just don't get it...

I see no problem with the letter. JR has failed as an owner in terms of providing a winning product. He's done fine as an owner in terms of making money. Fans don't care about the second thing. They care about the first. JR being a nice guy who'll have lunch with you, and a sweet old man with a fake heart, and a hero who brought us football means jack in 2012. The only thing that matters is we excel as an organization. That has yet to happen in team history. When you're at the top, you get called out. He got called out. Simple as that.

I'm not, and for that fact I believe you should have a greater say than I do. I haven't made the investment you have and presumably you've done it over a number of years.

Much of the letter may indeed be rubbish, but the point remains that assuming this is a group of PSL owners, they sure as hell have a big stake in the team and should be listened to.

I have no issue with the letter. People spend a lot of money on PSL's and tickets. And, they have a right to give their opinion.

However, as some have already said:

1. It was mmarginally written for "business executives"

2. If you really want to be taken seriously, nut up and sign the letter instead of pussing out behind some anonymous group name

This is a very interesting point. As a former PSL owner of 18 seasons, I agree with the basic points of the letter/ad. I don't think the points were as eloquently illustrated as they could have been- nowhere close to a hand drawn, single sheet of paper, Sharpie and a pie chart- but they are valid points nonetheless.

I think a question to ponder might be why is there a differing perception of the team, the organization and the management by PSL owners and non-PSL owners?
