Do we re-sign Munnerlyn?

I believe the secondary coach has done miracles with him and I'd like to keep him, but if his numbers aren't looking flexible we likely won't re-sign him. He is leaps and bounds better from his previous years here.

I remember hearing Rivera say a few weeks ago that Cap is one of the best nickelbacks he's ever seen. Not much of a starter, but if we nail the draft or free agency and get a proper outside CB, having him cover the slot would be very beneficial for the secondary.

Sure, there's no way there will be much competition for him. Should be able to lock him up without paying him as more than the #3 CB he is.

not as a starter. Carolina kinda needs to start fresh with the secondary. I do however like DJ Cambell and Josh Norman.

If we drop around the 9-14 range in the draft I wouldn't be surprised if we took CB Dee Milliner from Bama who could likely be BPA and fill a need. Milliner, Norman, Thomas, and maybe Gamble and Captain would be a solid core with some experience and talent.

He is a very good NB....very good ST'er...and a very servicable starting CB when someone gets injured. he is th etype of player that you need to have depth in this league.
