Rivera will be back

That leans more in the direction of Chud (you know the guy that calls the plays).

or maybe not when you let your offense get off the field on a 4th and 1 in atlanta territory

being this college football office manager you should know there's more to making decisions than just the calling the plays thing

We pinned them at the one, you can't look anyone in the eye and say that after we pinned them on the one yard line with no time outs and less than a minute to go that you didn't think we were going to win. That's all on Nakamura and the secondary there. Don't give me that horsesh*t.

That's on Rivera, but once again don't be surprised if Chud is axed but Rivera stays.

So under Rivera the GM goes. Then the ST coach goes. Now you're saying the OC might go.

Who's left to blame once McDermott gets tossed under the bus week 5?

Yea I'm sure Belichick's decision would've been exactly the same in that situation lol

Obviously Rivera, and at that point it's obviously on him.

The problem is, everyone seems to look at the worst case scenario, this team could easily be a playoff team this year with a few minor adjustments. Don't sacrifice an entire season next year for what possibly the season where Rivera finally gets it.

I haven't seen much evidence that he's a good head coach. I've seen him rack up wins when it doesn't really matter, seen the coordinators and players he manages choke away multiple games in the fourth quarter, seen him allow his OC to completely change away from an offense that set records last year, seen him show very little awareness of the clock and time outs, seen him run the entire offense through a 23 year old QB when we're paying 2 fuging RBs massive contracts, seen him stubbornly cling to an obvious stinker of a scheme until the GM got fired and only then move back to a setup that worked the previous season, etc.

Based on 2 seasons, I'd say throwing Rivera back out there is more akin to sacrificing the season than the other way around.

I know things have looked up the 2nd half of the season. We finished last season with things looking up as well. That didn't go so well for us.

I hope he's not back.

I like Rivera but I do not want him to continue as the coach of this team. I hope the people making the decisions don't drink the KoolAid. He has made enough damaging mistakes that have nothing at all to do with the talent available to him that I feel like the evidence is there that he's just not a good HC...at least not a good one for us.
