Vince Young told WMAR-TV in Baltimore Monday that he wants a chance to play, or out of Tennessee.

Young lost his starting job to Kerry Collins last year when he struggled horribly in new coordinator Mike Heimerdinger's offense, then sprained his MCL in Week 1. "If them guys don’t want me to be in there, it’s time for me to make a career change," he said. "I’m ready to play ball. If they’re not ready for me to play ball, then somebody is." The Titans say V.Y. will compete in camp, but he'd have to outplay Collins by a huge margin to regain the position. Jun. 1 - 8:46 pm et

hey guys i know we can't bash delhommo on this board but seriously vince young won a heisman he won rookie of the year and could you imagine us running the wildcat with stewart, vince, williams and fiammetta on the field at the same time

      Starting to think between his parents and school coddling him his whole life he's just shell shocked about being in the real world in general. Makes sense that he went home and just hunkered down all offseason to "get his mind off football" or whatever. Even during training camp on his birthday his parents were like in town (probably have an apartment for when he's there during the season I'm guessing) and his plans were to just go to dinner with his parents or something. Just seems real odd to me for a 23 year old to still be treated like a young teenager. If I had grown kids I'd be like get the fug out my house see you at Christmas, good luck getting your ass kicked for a while, lemme know if you need some help!

      Could be that or it could be he was getting worse, clearly.  I figured an away game meant one more chance but apparently the players have had enough. I think that was the biggest thing.    I think, if he has his head on his shoulders, he will know it is him and not everything else, and he’ll show some humility and get to work. I’d bet he will see the field if nothing else in a showcase scenario, unless he flunks off the scout team too.  Or forces his way out.  Which I don’t think he can really do right now.
