it only effects the local market as in around san diego.

everywhere else will be fine.

Cool; thanks. The reason I ask is that I know some game are blackouted on DirecTV. I live in Virginia so I wasn't sure if I would be able to see the game.

Only gets blacked out if the game is shown on a local channel.

I have directv and smoke a lot of weed.

No I live in Virginia but with the NFL ticket I have notice that Cinn, Buffalo and Jacksonville games have been blacked out at times.

This........and the system will ask you if you want it to find the game and transfer you to that channel.

atleast that's how my direct tv works
