Christmas Traditions You Could live Without

Got no bad Christmas traditions. Don't really have any traditions at all, except opening presents on Christmas Eve rather than Christmas morning and eating a big ham dinner. Neither bothers me!!

Ditto for me and my family. We love this time of year so much that we leave our decorations up through the 2nd week of Jan. and celebrate Epiphany with another big meal and a few more presents.

My favorite family tradition is to grill out on Christmas Day. Brats or Steaks usually, to get a break from the same old holiday fare.

Can't think of anything I particularly hate about christmas.

I love Christmas. Always have. This is the first year I haven't gone all out decorating, though. All I did was put up the tree. My daughter bought some horrendous penguin looking thing and stuck it on the mantle along with a bowl of pinecones.

My kids are scrooges. Every Christmas Eve since I was a little kid, we've always driven around looking at Christmas lights. My kids don't give a rat's behind about doing it. They're trying to start a new tradition in going to eat Chinese for Christmas Eve dinner. At least they're sticking with opening one present Christmas Eve, the rest Christmas morning.
