Tom Brady just celebrated after running for a 1st down

You mean the machine built by the coach who had losing records in his first 3 years with Cleveland and didn't go 11-5 until year 4.

Yep, then 5-11 and fired the next year by the Browns.

One important thing happened before this retread got his second shot 4 years later with the Pats.

3 years as the Assistant HC under Bill Parcells with the Jets.

Dont fear the retread, especially if they were successful their first time around.

I have seen your posts in this and other threads regarding not judging Rivera too quickly and citing Bill B. as an example.

My question is, do you think every coach should get 4 years? 5 years? Should Morris still be in Tampa? I'd just like to know what set of circumstances would you need to see to pull the plug on a head coach.

For those that didn't see it:

Brady's team was dominating the #1 seed (28-7) in the AFC on national TV and his "celebration" was an emphatic first down signal after a 5+ yard key 3rd down scramble. His celebration was not pre-meditated (such as the rodger's discount double check, Cam's superman, or Foster's bow).

And before you cam protectors come running with your pitchforks, this isn't a slight against Cam, it is simply shedding some light onto what Brady's celebration actually was.

Too late. I can hear the huddle hivemind swarming.

Prepare your anus.

It's not the celebrating that bothers them. It's more who is doing it.

These folks projecting their constant scorn and attact every move Cam makes is telling. The guy on NFLN wanted Cam benched and fined for his rushing td flip. Claiming he could have hurt himself but he was all happy with Aaron jumping into the packers fans arms even thou his behind was struggling and could have easily pulled a muscle after his TD.

Also, r u saying one shouldn't celebrate a td at all just in case their teamd loses? How silly does that sound. U folks r klling this sport.

Oh so kicking their ass wasn't enough for "All Class" Brady. He had to show poor sportsmanship as well by rubbing it in.

    • They have an uncanny way of getting out chanced and still scoring.  It’s demoralizing.
    • I rechecked my roster- 5 LBs You have believe the top three are chalk. Then ST value comes into play, so early edge to Rhattigan.   So that leaves ONE spot between Wooten, Cherulus, Bam, or Tuasivi Nomura. If anyone can prove to staff ST value, maybe knock off Rhattigan to cut/PS.   This is perfectly "fine" for this team at this stage. Yes it could use starter level talent, but so could other spots as well. Other teams have this same layout, its not a bad spot. They have been training Cherulus for three years, Wooten flashed some after injuries killed the group, and both UDFAs got nice guarantees. Best man wins!   I will say this- During the draft I would have MUCH rather they used the 4th RB pick on LB Or even the 6th round horn pick, but I didn't make the Panthers board.  Look if all, I mean all goes right.....{hold/brace your ribs}.... And Panthers make a run in the playoffs. The 2026 sets up GREAT for the draft provided they are in the late 20s- LB, safety, RT(?), TE, and C. Those are prime spots in the 20s, 50s, and 80s. Now I need to wake up.....
