Next Season - Greg Hardy for Captain.

I think he has earned it. Up there in stats, looks like the type that holds his peers accountable, and clearly the emotional leader of the team right now. I haven't thought this just after this weeks game either. I have noticed it since last season and every time I attend a game he is the guy trying to get others pumped up. Either way, hell of a season so far for a guy drafted so late in the draft with tons of concerns surrounding him.

I don't think he should be a capt. I like the emotional side of things, but have some class.... who cares what Matt Ryan did last game? I did not like it, and I did not like him calling the Panthers a broken/broke ass team.. that was also lame. No thanks.

I completely agree with you. It just proves to me how immature this team is. I hated the fact that he did. It just not something smart to say when we are in the position that we are. Whether other up here like it or not the Falcons will be in the playoffs and we wont. It just stupid and classless to say the least.

Greg Hardy is borderline crazy. Not captain material.

On the issue of his speaking out against the falcons, it was needed. People act like these things aren't said all the time, or behind closed doors. Class in football is an illusion created by the media.

He didn't call them a sorry ass team, a falcon player did. A falcon player chirped at Hardy : "Ya'll are a sorry as team" to which Hardy replied "You just go beat by a sorry ass team, Baby!"

Quit being an idiot.

    • I forgot about Jackson...definitely elite.  The sad part of your list is that 2 of them were 'there for the taking for the Panthers'.  Rumor has it that Hurney loved Herbert and was vetoed on trying to trade up.  And rumor has it that Frank & McCown wanted Stroud.  I believe both rumors.
    • I went on a solo elk hunt in the Flat Tops. It was awesomely miserable. LOL It was a late season hunt, I think third season and it was forecasted to snap off cold with highs in the upper thirties and lows in the single digits. fug it, I'm going anyway. They were wrong. The highs were in the low 20s and the lows were in the negative teens. I shivered so hard the first night I thought my teeth were going to break. It was the only time I've ever been legit concerned that I might be in trouble. Crawled out of my sleeping bag and got a fire started and suffered through the night bundled up next to the fire. I slept the next two nights literally wearing every stitch of clothing I'd brought with Nalgenes full of near boiling water in the bottom of my sleeping bag. That was the only way to have non-frozen water in the morning anyway. There was about a foot of snow on the ground and the melt/freeze crust was almost enough to support your weight but you'd go crashing through just as you went or make your step. It was exhausting travel and every step sounded like a rifle shot. Hunting was basically impossible. I never saw an elk in those four days, only saw 5-6 deer. LOL It was brutal but I loved it. Absolutely beautiful country that is never been to before and haven't been back since. I needed that four day complete break from society fighting for my life against the elements. I'm weird like that.
    • The lack of production is especially surprising given how much effort the team put into coaxing the best from him.  In just six short years he’s had the opportunity to work with 3 different GMs, 7 different head coaches and 10 different starting quarterbacks.  There’s literally no excuse to be made that one of those combos didn’t work.  It might be time to look withIAN.
