there have not been any cam haters on this board, ever. Just some people with a balanced perspective.

BS. A lot of the talk I witnessed pre draft was vicious and ignorant to say the least. Quite a few of those individuals have returned this season after being missing during all of 2011 to offer their "balanced perspective".

Why don't you focus all that energy on begging your team to get this ish together instead of acting like this team is so together and it's Cam who is the problem. If you doubt this that means you were never around for Jake Delhomme because there is a deference, and if you were here for it you would know.

So in your eyes, "balanced perspective" means intentionally finding fault with everything Cam does just so he won't look better than Jake? I figured there was a reason behind all this intentional over the top expectation of Cam.

Why are we still holding on to the ghost of Jake Delhomme? That is the problem with some of you fans. You don't seem to want this team to move forward because your favorite person isn't on it anymore. How sad and selfish is that?

All that energy? This is, like, the only thing I ever criticize about him. I never said Cam was the problem, I said he needs to reign in all these overthrows. It will happen as he gets more experience but practice will accelerate his improvement in that department. Since when is me saying he needs to reign in his overthrows "getting bent out of shape"? If you think I'm one of the Cam haters, you must not post here very often. I'm one of the more level headed posters these days. It sounds to me like you just want to take out your frustration on someone and I happened to be the first person you saw criticize Cam.

Go ask Cam himself. He will say he wants to get his overthrows under control too. I'm not hating.

I am using Jake as an example of what real hating on a QB looks like! because you guys clearly don't have a freaking clue. There's not been a Single, and I mean Single topic posted with the title "Cam is tex Sux we need to bench/cut him now!" with Jake for his last 3 years as the Panthers QB it was a every day thing. A lot of the people complaining about any criticisms of Cam I look at as if they are intellectual babies, with such a fragile grasp on reality find it amazing that they are even able to get out of bed in the morning.

Just as an example of what I'm talking about

Let's say I talk about his "lack of leadership" one week and the Cam Newton Jock Sniffers say I'm hating on him, but two weeks rolls by and the same people that said I was hating on him are praising him for showing more effort into being a leader.

Basically I get blasted for criticism when I call Leadership into question, but when he shows improvement the Jock sniffers praise him for improving? which person is based in reality and which one isn't?

Cam Newton is a second year player in the NFL, he has done nothing to earn a criticism pass yet, he's not even won more then 6 games in a single season yet, but instead of looking at him as work in progress there are many people on here that look at him as the second coming.

If you look at my posts over the last year about Cam Newton, you will see about a 50/50 split, about half talking about what he does good and praising him and the other half criticizing him for his issues, actually if anything you would probably see more posts from me praising Cam for what he does good then bad. in fact anyone calling me a Cam hater, I dare you to go look at them, because I know what you will see, Balanced analysis, equal portions good and bad.

This doesn't make me a Cam hater, this Just makes me a fan who can see things for what they are.

He's a second year player learning the game, with his best Football in front of him.

Difference between me and many of the Jock sniffers here I know this and they don't.

What bugs me about the missed throws is that he almost always makes the right read and finds the open guy. Just imagine how much better he'd be if he had better accuracy. Then he would truly be elite.

Its not like Cam was super accurate coming out of college and he's improved A WHOLE LOT since then

this season he's 57%(60% last season) on accuracy for a NFL QB that's bordering on average to bad, you usually want it between 60-65 at the very least.
