We all know what happens now right?

Just think with logic for a minute. If we go 7-9 and this team keeps playing lights out, I say Rivera deserves a 3rd chance. Again, anythng less than 7-9 and he has to go period. But as ive said in a previous post. If im the new GM, I call Rivera in the office and say its either winning record at season bye week or FIRED. I dont care if both Cam and DA gets hurt and you had to start Clausen, NO EXCUSES. No not .500, no tough schedule excuses. Winning record at the bye or you will be fired. Thats how I handle Rivera if im the new GM.

If players keep playing this hard for him and we run the table, I say keep him. You take him and the GM and have a long long talk on why we lost so many close games. Study film for hours on end and focus on CLOSING games. Again, if we can get a Gruden or Cowher then ofcourse you let Rivera walk

I do not think he'll get another chance.

If he does, though, so be it. Just get Chud out of here and it would be a hell of a lot more tolerable.

I want him gone, but with a new GM, and a new OC, it wouldn't be quite as bad....

.......Would it?

fug me.

Not to defend Rivera but we also beat the 11-1Falcons when literally EVERYONE expected us to lose to them and we beat them by double digits. So I say that makes ot a wash as far as us losing to the Chiefs

I think losing to the Chiefs was the nail in the coffin. Whatever happens after that is too late.
