What are the chances of getting Bill Cowher

I haven't seen anyone really do more than mention him, but he's an option, and in my opinion the best one. It's not probable, not out of the question is it?

How likely is it we get him as our next coach.

Talk about cowher. I want to hear some takes on it.

Is it that unlikely? He's supposedly gonna coach again, and he leaves in NC

I don't know a whole lot about the guy, which is why I'm asking, but it seems like there's a chance

But if there isn't, why? what are your reasons for thinking that

I don't think it's likely, but the scenario is certainly in place. If I recall correctly, Cowher wants to have total control over the team. I know that in the end, everything comes down to Jerry, but without an GM in place, Cowher could take over the team the way he wants to, and rebuild it to his liking.

maybe if we hire omar khan.

don't know that cowher is the best or most ideal man for the job.

i'd rather have him that just about any coordinator, esp. D coordinator or that mike mccoy guy.

it just depends on how forward thinking he is and allows the team to become. if he sticks with a ground and pound run heavy scheme and isn't looking to take advantage of the rules protecting the passing game i don't think i'm all that interested.

i'm not interested in any brand of football that opts for ball control rather than scoring early and often and putting a ton of points on the board.

Thank you for that intelligent reply.

slim to none. he's been out of football a while and the game has changed significantly since he was winning football games. the only way i could see it happening is if, one, he demonstrates adaptability with his fundamental philosophies and, two, the offensive coordinator is innovative (but not full retard a la chudz) and given near-full command of his guys and playcalling while cowher calls defense. that's a symbiosis i'd be comfortable with, but i don't see cowher going for it.

that's right i said symbiosis.
