If the kicker can send the ball through the upright on the kickoff from current location...put ball at 15 or 10 versus 20.

and it is broken in that it causes more injuries than at any other point in the game. trying to find a way to cut down on concussions.

I just don't like seeing my starters play special teams. That would be sufficient for me.

you don't think the game would be more interesting with teams switching from kickoffs to 4th and 15 type situations?

i think it's an upgrade. kickoffs are kind of boring except at maybe the beginning of the game and the 2nd half. rarely were the returns interesting even before the move up to the 35.

more options available and teams would probably be more creative.

fwiw, i do think the rosters should be expanded to the full 53. not sure what the reasoning is in not allowing all 53 to be active.
