Finally, the most pointless argument in the history of sports is over in that Kobe has won a ring without Daddy Diesel.

Now, if Shaq goes to the Cavs and they win one, Lebron will have to face the same question. Will Queen James ever win one without Shaq? Hahaha. Or even worse, will he be the first super star to NOT win with Shaq? This could get fun.

Anyway, I'm really proud of The Lake Show. They have more haters than any other team, but were able to brush the hate off and take care of business. It's very possible with the right moves this summer that we'll be singing the repeat song this time next year. Looking forward to it, and I'm sure all the haters are as well!

Series win 4-1 with 2 road victories in a row, and 2 10+ point victories.

but but OMG the Magic were so up to our level.

Once again proof of why BANDWAGON laker fans are totally obnoxious, and just as bad as cowboys fans or other fanbases who dont know poo about the sport. You act like this was the 2001 lakers or 1997 bulls teams that breezed their way through the whole playoffs. I mean any team that can dispatch an awesome rockets team in 7 games deserves to be mentioned in the same breath of those teams. Oh that's right you didn't watch back in the "old days" of before 2008.

To other laker fans who stuck with the team during the the days of when sedale threatt was your best player, congratulations. As much as I dislike Kobe, I think this was the first year that he firmly put his trust in his teammates and that ultimately that put the team over the championship hump. It will be interesting to see if they can keep both odom and ariza.

Bandwagon.

Okay so according to you, I'm a bandwagon fan of which you only assume because you really don't have a fuging clue, but all you were doing was singing the Magic's praises this series and rooting for them to upset us even though you're not a real Magic fan. You jump on the Orlando bandwagon and go preach to me about what a real fan is. You're a fuging hypocrite, but thanks anyway for letting me feel your seething at the Lakers winning the Finals and proving like I said, that they were better.

Oh please X-Clown with your advanced basketball knowledge and all enlighten all the peasants and followers of the Lakers how the game works, and educate us on how LA's triangle offense outmatched Dwight Howard and company. Or that Courtney Lee's defense guarding Kobe, while physical and frustrating at times, could not stop Bryant, because he had the skill to back it up and make those tough shots, or that in the face of good defense against a shot, Kobe was able to find someone to pass it to and get an assist, especially if they doubled him (see 94-91 in game 4 overtime). Still Lee played pretty damn well for a rookie, I have to admit.

Gasol had redeemed himself from last year and got rid of the "soft" moniker that was branded on him. It's not easy defending Howard, but Gasol did an exceptionally good job. So did Bynum a bit too.

Now the next battle is securing Odom and Ariza for the future.

Now go back to your closet to stick pins in a voodoo Kobe Bryant doll by candlelight.

Cedric Caballos, those were the days. Yeah the Lakes struggled with the Rockets. Last year the Celtics were almost eliminated round one by the Hawks. The Hawks. Wouldn't be any fun if it was easy. Showtime only comes around once in a lifetime.

A lot of the reason the Rockets were a tough out was because of Derek Fisher struggling with Aaron Brooks' speed. He's had a problem with points in that mold the entire year. It's just a bad matchup for him.
