Interesting Ways to Make Fast Money

if its any comfort i had to sell my les paul/effects rig too a couple years ago to pay off some debts and buy a dumbass lump of carbon so i could propose

luckily the les paul was an epiphone and the pedal was a $40 piece of poo, so it wasnt a big deal to change my username from Boss DS-1 to PhillyB

the final body count was my gibson, a sovtek "civil war" big muff, and a late 70s electric mistress.

really though it wasn't an overly "special" guitar to me. i hadn't even had it a year when i had to sell it. the only one i own that's like that is a beat up mexican stratocaster i got when i turned 15 which was my first "real" guitar.

my first guitar was a piece of poo but it was special to me. that paul was my second one and after i sold it i bought another epiphone (a hollow-body this time) to goof around on. i threw some gibson pickups in it to improve the tone, and i loved it, and then somebody broke into my car last week and stole it. so now i'm relegated to picking around on a bass and an acoustic... dammit

next rig i pick up will be a les paul or a jazzmaster (or a jaguar because i like the body, but it's a little lacking in tone, which would stop me)

drive a 78 cutlass 750 miles one way, drop off at an airport and pick up a manilla folder underneath a bench 20 yards behind the 2012 red ford fusion. get the keys and drive the Fusion back to Charlotte.

whatever you do, don't speed and for God's sake do NOT look in the trunk of the Cutlass under ANY circumstances.

I know someone that provides a taxi service to drunks in his free time for extra money. He parks at bars, stands in front of his car and hands out his cards.

There's this old man who parks in this empty lot down the road from me and sells vegetables off the tailgate of his pickup. He always has at least 4-5 customers at any given moment. Sometimes I wonder if that's not the only thing he sells.

People are always offering to pay Dan to fix their computers, because they find out he's a software developer they automatically assume he will fix it for them. But he doesn't ever have time.

I occasionally clean peoples homes for extra dough, I used to clean newly constructed houses as well.
