Ron Rivera's first press conference - a summary

BIGH2001

I felt that they also lied about being focused on teaching and utilizing the talent that they have on the roster. A season later we're hearing that they don't have the personnel for their scheme?

huge one there.

all this talk around building around the talent they have flew out the window this year.

just plain stupid.

I actually came to enjoy Fox playing dodgeball with reporters more than Rivera's stupid attempts at being transparent about personel decisions.

Watching Fox answer every question yet not give an answer to any question was at least mildly entertaining. I can't even watch Rivera's pressers anymore

I wasnt impressed with Ron during the first press conference. A lot of people voiced the opinion that he seemed in command and in control. I thought he came across as nervous and unsure of himself and I think his lack of confidence spills over the most in late game situations where indecisiveness has led him to take the ultra conservative approach which usually leads to losses.

Rivera looked at how Fox failed and made statements congruent with the changing of the guard in NFL strategies, and then did none of it.

-balanced attack: do whichever needed, successfully.

-teaching players, brought in "teachers" for coaches

-aggressive, never let up on the score

all something I was hoping to see with this new staff..
