OLine or DLine ?

So how are you going to draft a DT high (I assume you mean at the top of the first) AND upgrade the LT? You don;t find stud LT's outside the first round.....and no one lets a good LT go in FA.

You must sraft your LT.

Easy. Get the LT next year. I feel a lot better with Gross as our LT next year than R. Edwards or Fua as our NT.

O-line for sure. There are some good DTs in this years free agency group. Terrance Knighton, Kevin Williams, Randy Starks, Alan Branch, Glenn Dorsey...Panthers need to sign a good one (not budget good, talent good), since our inability to draft and/or develop DT has been hurting us for how long now

Man, I tell ya, we really need both. We're in a real mess unless we can score in FA. We've needed to draft a DT for so long now it's just a mantra.

Your right, we may have to draft a LT with this top 5 pick we're going to have and get a DT in FA like we did with Buckner. We can't continue to ignore the interior of our lines and expect to go anywhere

With few exceptions, I go BPA or trade down if available. That said, the need for a good nose is perhaps greater than the needs on the o-line.

My gut feel is our o-line is much better than it's showed this year except for the obvious weakness at RG. Let these guys get in a rhythm run blocking and get them out of a 2 point stance the whole game, and I'll bet they look like a different unit.

Our OL is not really that great. Not to mention that Gross is in the downside of his career.....and we have absolutely no one who is remotely ready to take his place.

I want the #1 pick...trade it to someone wanting a QB....move down a few spots....take the best LT....then WR and DT in the top of the 2nd with our pick and one of the ones we get for the trade.

Hey...a guy can dream.

I'm down with that. Where do we sign up?

1st - DT as long as Star is available ... and he probably will be. With Edwards out, our run D is toast. Edwards' are adequate starters but we have no depth. A stud DT that can get a push up the middle will make CJ and Hardy even better. 2nd - Best available DB (preferably a safety) or WR. We need a playmaker at both position. Gross is Still a quality LT and isn't going anywhere soon. No need to waste an early pick on that position unless they want competition at RT. He may restructure to create cap space but is not going anywhere. We would do well to add a quality CB, safety or WR during free agency.

Depends on the coaching staff, honestly.

If we go to a more run oriented offense (which, honestly, I really hope we do), whether it be a power run scheme, a stretch run scheme, etc, then we definitely need a RG. There is a gaping hole there, bigger than any other on the offensive line. Hangartner moving back there isn't going to help.

If we go to a more pass-rush centric 43 or a 34, we're going to definitely need a DT or a NT.
