There's not much to like imo... short days, whiny spoiled kids, incessant Christmas music being played everywhere, cold/hot/cold/hot weather... I hate this time of year personally.

Football is the only redeeming thing about it.

Utopia would be Football in May/June with long beach days, golf on TV and bikinis by the pool.

I enjoyed the 18 inches of snow we had 2 years ago here in Appalachian NC. Power only went out for about 4 hours at the storms peak. Everything was super quiet. Loved it.
