Andy Reid and Carolina, match made in heaven?

First the obvious reason, Andy Reid would do wonders with Cam and there is no doubt Reid deep down has a man crush on Newton. And another reason that never gets mentioned is im sure Reid would not only welcome a change of venue but also a laid back city like Charlotte might be just the break he needs. Not sure he would want another harsh enviroment like a Dallas or the Jets.

The bottom line is we need Reid and Reid needs us. Thoughts?

I'd sign up for it in a heartbeat. He's never won a SB, so I assume he's still hungry whereas I'd worry Cowher was just doing it for a paycheck.

That's kind of how I feel about the situation. I would love to have Reid, but if I'm interviewing him for a job, that's the exactly question I'd ask.

Things would need tailored. I remember watching a lot of McNabb and it was a lot of balls down the seams and taking shots under Reid.... That's how it would be for Cam.

to be fair though, he was 8-8 last year (did that plenty with us) and had Peyton Manning the living legend fall in his lap

IMO, the same thing that happened here Fox's last year. The organization desperately needed a change but so did the coach.

The defense is some poo. If you are going to run the wide 9 you got to have CB's come up and make tackles. Asomugha or Rogers- Cromartie don't tackle well. They're also man to man CB's but the Eagles are playing a lot of zone due to the fact that their safetys are poo also. Injuries are also killing them on the Oline and Vick hurt.

If you get a damn good Defensive coordinator with Andy Reid then he would be a good coach for the Panthers. I don't think Jerry pursue though.
