Music to my ears

As a DC, Trgovac seemed to develop a fear of giving up big plays, one that grew worse over time. As you watch his schemes and their execution progress over time, they "bent" more and more and more until it was practically "do contortion and don't break".

Maybe as a DL coach he'll be more aggressive, but as a DC he was one of those guys for whom the fear of failure was so great that it actually wound up preventing success.

i think you're right there. good observation.

the main thing i want to see is the aggressiveness continue through the whole game...from start to finish. none of this backing off later in the game. the same aggression you have going in you finish with.

We got burned deep, short, on the side, up the middle...just about anywhere they wanted to throw on us, teams have been doing it.

Bumping, or no bumping. More than just the jamming at the LOS needs to be corrected in order to stop getting shredded on. Making a QB scared he is gonna be on his back 3 outta 4 plays is a GREAT way to start.

It goes hand in hand. Interrupting the receivers route and timing with the QB can never be a bad thing. First it interrupts the route timing and second gives the defensive line a full second or more additional time to reach the QB, where's the downside?...
