Offensive line

10-12 I want Keenan Allen, D Milliner- maybe Chance Warmack.

I'm starting to like the idea of drafting Warmack.

I've heard from numerous scouts that he could be the best guard prospect of all time, better than Steve Hutchinson.

Are we going to be better next year by taking a OG??

I think so, yeah. I think that a guard is what the offensive line is missing. When we had Wharton and Hangartner, we had one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL. Without that, we're breaking down on almost every play.

Not to mention opening holes for the running backs.

Sure it'll be nice to have a legit RG, but that's not going to help our backs in any way in this system.

Is the lack of an OG the reason we're losing games and can't close out games late in the quarter?

I wouldn't mind an OG in the 2nd, but really can't be in the 1st. It should be DT or WR in the 1st. Not even close.

I'm sorry, I just can't agree.

I think the reason we can't close out late is the same reason we won't have this same system next season.

We can't close games bc either there's no open wide receiver for Cam to pass to, or our Defense can't make a stop. It's not bc we lack a RG. Our weakness spot on the OLINE ATM is not RG, it's Center.

Star, Hankins, or a top receiver will help this team much more than a RG.

Arguing is pointless. I have a different opinion.

Is Center a problem? Yes. Is RG a problem? Yes. Is LT a problem? Yes. Is LG a problem? Yes.

It's not just the center.

Besides, hasn't it been the consensus for years that drafting BPA is the best thing to do?

Lol what? When did we argued?

But

Is DT a bigger problem for the future? YES.

Is WR as big a problem, if not bigger than RG? YES

Is LT a problem? Somewhat.

And 125.99999% agreed with taking BPA in top5-10. But no OG is going to be BPA at that spot. Tell me if I'm wrong.

David Decastro was a pretty damn good OG prospect and he wasn't taken till no.24 to Pittsburgh. Should any OG prospect be taken what is looking like top5-10 to us would be a terrible stupid call.

If we trade down to around the mid to later and add picks, go ahead and take an OG. Or if we take one in the 2nd I'm fine with it, but top5-15? It's a stupid dumb decision.

Chuck just likes sexy players.

And you're arguing that a DT is more of an impact in the 4th quarter with two minutes left than a stud offensive linemen that will keep Cam clean and give him the time to get his targets the ball.

A good offensive guard gives your QB time to let his his receivers routes develop. With a QB as good as Cam, you don't need super star receivers. You just need to give him time to find the open target.

I know you didn't play football, but do you know how hard it is to get to the ball to ANYONE when a 300 pound man is coming at you 3 seconds after the snap?

Talk about times, did I see last game vs Chiefs. How much times Cam got sitting in the pocket and no scrub receivers got opened?

I like how you always go assuming things. I guess you played QB in pop Warner then since you know the feeling of a 300lbs kid?

Also i like how im always the first person you try to find on here when youre back. Where have you been for weeks too? Ive heard a lot of rumors about you since you been gone.

Fully agreed.

I want Star or Hankins in the 1st then a WR/FS in the 2nd.

OG is also a much more needed position than LT. I still can't see why many members are calling for a franchise LT after "one" poor game vs Denver. If we go LT 1st, that'll be the stupidest decision making by a GM in Panthers history. What are we going to do with Gross and Bell?

If we don't go DT 1st, it better be a WR.

Gross should be cut this offseason. Not just because of his rapidly declining play, more so than just "one" poor game vs Denver, but because his cap figure is extremely high and would help save us from some of the other horrible contracts that are in the midst of haunting us. Gamble too, and I LOVE me some #20.
