For anyone interested in my dad's syrup-less chocolate pee-can pie, here ya go:

• 3 unbaked regular pie shells
  
• 1 Cup of Cocoa
  
• 2 cups of sugar
  
• 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  
• 4 eggs beaten
  
• 1 can of Carnations’ evaporated milk
  
• 1 stick of butter softened
  
• 1 cup (or more if desired) chopped pecans
  

Mix all ingredients together and cook for approximately 50 minutes at 350 degrees.

BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITES

My dad planted scuppernong vines in his back yard so he could make the grape pie recipe his grandmother made. It's.....interesting.

dont know about using scuppernongs - I use my own purple muscadines - may make a difference - the one my gf makes is the best pie - like it even better than blueberry
