Rivera should stay if we go 7-9 or 8-8

Whether you want to admit it or not there aren't many guys out there who know football better than Ron. If he shows he has learned to manage a game & we win out he should stay.

OP made a good point. Philadelphia, San Diego, Dallas, New York, & potentially Washington will all have a HC vacancy this offseason. Do you really want the leftovers of those 5 teams? Nobody is choosing Carolina over those places.

We don't win out without great gameplanning & coaching. So if it happens Ron should be given a 3rd year to make a playoff push.

We have "CAM", a pretty good Defense and pieces on offense to lure a top tier HC. You telling me no potential HCs would want to coach Cam but instead rather take a Romo, Vick, or Sanchez? Shannahan will still be coaching the skins next year.

Dude, coaches don't give two poos about "spotlight". Any coach worth a damn only cares about winning. 23-24 year old Franchise QB = best chance to build super bowl team. End of story.

Edit: and $$$$$....I think JR has shown he isn't shy about opening up his purse.
