Trestman signed an extension? Ah, that stinks. I believe he would have made a great HC, and probably wouldn't have cost us as much as the other big names out there. My first choice for HC is David Shaw, but that is not likely. I don't really have a third choice.

I wouldn't cut Davis or Godfrey.

Davis is the soul of the team with what he's been through AND he's an impact player- a true difference maker.

Godfrey is getting better, if he would just work on wrapping up rather than going for the big hit he'd be even better.

Outside of that, I'd mess my britches if something like this came to fruition.

Yall convinced me about Davis, so I'll change that in my mock. I love to have him here, just don't want to see us shuffling linebackers next year. So Anderson will be Davis' back up.

No way Jarius Byrd hits free agency. The Bills are already working out an extension with him. If they can't get a deal done in time they'll use the franchise tag.

I fear you're right about that. Do the Bills have another free agent that is tag worthy? Would love to have a guy like Byrd here, of course there would be steep competition for his services, and we don't have a lot of money to bid.
