Uh, no. Beasley was absolutely nothing like some random-ass player from Weber fuging St, he put up better numbers than Kevin Durant in the big 12. He was also 2nd in almost every player of the year award.

Just because Minny replaced Jefferson with a pile of poo doesnt mean Love and Jefferson fit together. They didnt, which is why nobody questioned their decision to trade him to Utah

Beasley was a good player in college but he was in no way going to Chicago. 1. they already had Louol Deng. 2. Derrick Rose was the hometown guy who just led a team to a national Championship game. Not to mention he has been traded how many times now?

Again not my fault Minny has a dumb FO. They would have a better Front court with Jefferson then with Pekovic.

What is the difference in what Utah is doing with there front court? Love is a way better player but him and Millsap have same type skill sets. And the Jazz have been making the playoffs and the Timberwolves haven't. Maybe Minny would be making the playoffs more often if they kept Jefferson and Love togehter.

Just because its an easy decision in hindsight doesnt mean it was so simple at the time.

Utah doesnt know what they are doing with their frontcourt, which is why they have multiple top-3 picks as their back-up bigs. And for what its worth, Utah went from a 53 win team to 39 wins and missed the playoffs after trading for Jefferson.

It was simple at the time that's why they made it.

D Rose and Deng was a better choice then Hinrich and Beasley.

They have made the playoffs which Minny hasn't and have been a better team. If Minny would have kept the Love - Jefferson Combo I have no doubt they would be a better team today.

Guest Hornets 2.0

Lots of arguing over crap that doesn't matter. There isn't a LeBron/Durant/Wade/Kobe type talent in this draft. It doesn't really matter who or where anyone picks. It will be the exact same teams sitting in the lottery fighting for #1 in 2014. Rinse, rrpeat.

    • I find it more like now that I have been forced to watch Young so much it isn’t as much of a shock to my senses.   Desensitized they call it.   For real, it just looks normal almost now. Where the first game of 2023 I wasn’t sure what I was looking at it was so out of bounds for NFL type play. I literally couldn’t make sense of what I had seen vs Atlanta that first week.
    • Lynch in SF. Great is subjective but he has done pretty well there.
    • Sure, except Stroud has the ability to stretch the field with deep passes. He did that often last night with ease, but couldn’t connect on many due to being flustered by the defense. BY9 gets flustered and can’t throw screens, let alone even think about any deeper passes. Stroud would’ve changed the franchise and done more with the situation last year. My thought at least.    the hope is that last year showed tepper that he needed to step back from football decisions. There’s a positive in most situations and maybe we’ll see a new tepper in the near future.
