Mathieu declaring for the NFL Draft. I think this was pretty expected after his second offense with Jordan Jefferson. He tried to come back and rehab but he obviously didn't do that.

I like his skills a lot and he forces some turnovers but he does better when he is placed in the nickel where he can blitz. I wonder how far he will far?

I doubt he falls too far. Probably early 2nd round which will be too soon for us unless we gain some extra draft picks. I'd love to have him.

he is average in man to man coverage, but is a lot better playing in a zone coverage. he is around the same size as Tim Jennings who have been one of the better CBs the last 2 years. in the right system he will produce.
