So you would like the Biz-Haywood starting combo? I'm iffy on the thought of that. Good for defensive purposes but our offense would see a dip.

Yes, I think it would be worth it. Mullens is not very good defensively and gives up so much to starting players that I think it would even out scoring wise.

Well our schedule doesn't get any easier. We could see a slide. Take a look at the December schedule.

The team is loads better then last year, but it's still not a playoff team and will still end up picking in the top 10 I think. Love the direction though and as for the Bizmack starting, they only way he;s going to get better is by playing and getting time. Mullens just doesn't get defense and protecting the rim, at least Biyombo can get you 6-10 points, 8-10 rebounds and 2-5 blocks a game getting starting minutes. While Mullens coming off the bench will have more freedom to shot his threes and jumpshots against sub par defenders. Probably make more of them that way as well.

Take a look at the last few games for an example, Bizmack leads the team in Plus/Minus and plays great defense in the paint. He's a difference maker even with all of his offensive short comings.

The problem with playing Biz, is that it's like playing four on five on the offensive end (where he is mostly non-existent) and that in turn hurts the ball movement because we are only using four players.

With that said, major props to Ben Gordon, he played a fantastic game tonight; we really missed that last year.

It's not like playing 4 on 5, he's got a few decent post moves that he uses regularly with success and he's shooting over 51 % from the field on the season going into tonight, he's the best on the team at Offensive rebounding and setting screens as well.

He's also the best player on the team Defensively in the paint. The Bobcats aren't making the playoffs this season and he's got the most upside of any of the teams Bigs. The best way for him to get better is to play regular consistent minutes.
