They need him to be a good quarterback, he needs to play well. Drafting another quarterback would set this team back years, and we have holes all over the roster. The best-case is that he plays well enough for us to trade back in the first round and acquire several picks. Because of all this, as long as he is not awful, they are going to play him. That said, I can't tell you what Canales and Morgan are thinking. They may want to bring in their own guy, and I can understand that too.
