People(Polian mentioned this previously) always mention that Cam yards went down in the 2nd half of his rookie year which showed teams were adjusting to him. This opinion shows that they either are idiots or didn't watch the games, as in the 2nd half he was more efficient and was playing great football. His pass attempts also went way down and the team was winning.

While I do agree that teams have adjusted a bit to Cam(done a better job of containing him in the pocket), they aren't doing anything massively different. Most of Cam's mistakes are self inflicted or due to terrible play calling/scheme. Saying his success is because of coaches is such poo, as the coaches don't throw/run the football, they can only put you in a position to succeed, you have to do the rest and even still Cam made many a plays beyond the actual play call or x's & o's.

He apparently has a low opinion of defensive coaches around the league if they let a rookie fool them for 35 TD's.

Polian put together a good team in Buffalo and was fortunate enough to get Peyton in Indy. However, his last years in Indy were very, very ordinary.

And for those that complain about how we overpay players, take a look at what Freeney is earning this year.

There's a reason Polian is a talking head rather than a GM right now. His draft record the last few years of his tenure was abysmal.

And his knowledge of the Panthers seems to follow suit.

That is why I posted that interview. Trying to raise the football IQ of this place a little. Most won't even listen to it.
