Would you trade for Cousins?

Yes.

Love watching him, I've mentioned him a bit over in the NBA Section. He is the most skilled Center in the league. He can score, dribble, pass, rebound. He does it all. He would fit well with this team in terms of skill and what we need in the front court.

The problem with him is his mental makeup. If you watched the Jazz game on NBATV the other day, that was the epitome of Cousins. He got ejected off of two technicals but before he was doing so well. That dunk was ridiculous. He needs discipline and maybe a change of scenery. But there's no guarantee he'll shape up.

The one problem I do see in trading with the Kings, is I'm not sure what they'd want. They have guards in Brooks, Thornton, Evans and bigs with Thompson and Robinson. I think Henderson would be our best trading piece but we'd have to throw in a draft pick because I'm not sure they have a dire need for him.

It'd be tough but I'd definitely do it. Especially if Dunlap can get him straight.

I've always seen him as a more talented Zach Randolph. I would love to have him, but I'm not sure now would be the time to trade for him. Wait until he signs a big extension and becomes a distraction then his trade value will plummet

Of course if you could trade a mid 1st round pick + Henderson or something similar I would say go for it, but since he is still on his rookie deal for another couple years I dont think Sacremento would be interested

    • he has barely suited up for 50% of our games.  It matters pending how much of our cap and resources go that way.  If he cost in the ballpark of a Surtain? No thank you.  Let someone else  And as far we know what happens when we let talent walk away or trade them…..that’s a mixed bag.   should we of paid Norman, Bradberry at CB? They probably had earned the right to be called better than Horn at that moment of the decision.  Do we regret that? Do we regret Star walking? Can take it back to Spoon.  Flip side is probably Peppers.
    • We need to get better in the redzone. And yes that is an issue that involves all the moving parts. Oline receivers QB and playcalling. But Bryce himself has to lead the charge on that or surely we could face another blowout in one of these upcoming games. Every team no matter how good they are is going to face an opponent that imposes their will on them and requires the same in response. Those are the games where we have got to capitalize on drives. Honestly I get the sense that the Chiefs on some level overlooked us.  So while I am pleased we were as competitive as we were it certainly remains to be seen if this was the beginning for something new or just an anomaly. I think that's a perfectly fair take at this juncture.
    • He is a diva, even with Baltimore winning, he will cry and pout and ask to be traded. He cares about his numbers and stats for his next contract. Ironically, his best chance to showcase his ability was with us, now he is just an afterthought.
