I certainly have no love for the Bucs, and LBF didn't help their cause any. However, if there's one team I want to punch in the bean bag more than anyone else, it's the effin Falcons. Vick up the middle last second winning TD... Crumpler across the middle last second TD... Zone blocking at the knees. They've kept us out of the playoffs more than once. It's long burning hatred that makes a rivalry, not who's good right now. If NO or TB is having a down year, good. If ATL is having a down year, no mercy. Grind their lame wanna be sacks into the mud.

I want to say the Saints due to their exposure in the NFL (or what seems to be) that they still trail behind the Bucs as our biggest Rival. Both the Panthers and Bucs focus on Defense first... It's always been a tough fight. Gruden talking about hating to play Peppers sticks out in my mind. But then I wonder if, this division being so competitive, that maybe it's any team that is having the most success at the time.. When Vick was with the Falcons, they were a pretty big rival then. As they may be now again if this team has another successul year, back to back (sound familiar?), and then you have 2 Franchises trying to prove they have what it takes to stay consistent, quicker than the other...

I would say the Falcons, for the team. The Vick years have left a deep grudge in the souls of both teams for each other - that's when the I-85 rivalry was at its most furious point. For that alone, the Falcons get the win.

In terms of the fanbase, I've noticed an unusually high number of people who detest the cowboys (though I wouldn't be surprised if everyone who isn't a cowboys fan hates the cowboys.) We've played them a number of times and there's quite a bit of angst at how some of those games ended.

The Saints and the Bucs are pretty obvious picks, but i say Falcons and Cowboys.

At that time, I would agree they were by far our biggest rival.. I remember Vick coming in and giving us hell until our dumb coaching staff adapted and shut him down like no other team ever had... :ihih:

The Bucs until now....Vick killed us and brewed a great rivalry...but our games w/ the Bucs have been timeless, some amazing games. But the tide's turned in Tampa so we'll have to wait and see how the "new" rivalry pans out...Matt Ryan and the Falcan'ts are gonna be the ones we're gonna be battling for years to come...and you have the whole "I-85 Rivalry" thing...and the Charlotte vs Atlanta rivalry...Though I may hate the Saints the most...go figure...

Hated the Falcons when the Vick fans came to town they knew little about football or the Falcons they were just thugs who pulled for Vick. Bunch of Jerks must be some gang affiliation going on there. Because Panther Fans knew more about the Falcons then they did. Glad he is gone.

So in the division, Falcons Bucs then Saints.
