Who is our biggest rival, and why?

I am thinking that the Bucs have to be because they have been the only solid and consistent competition that we've had over the years (though Michael Vick used to vex our defense to no end). The Saints have historically been cellar dwellers, when you look at the totality of the record. Now, of course their have been coaching changes and solid personnel moves of late by all parties, so who knows what will evolve, but I am thinking that the Bucs (particularly if they land Plax) are our biggest rivals. But, then again, the Falcons could easily be because of the apparent antipathy between our fan bases. Saints fans---much like the Saints---can pretty much be ignored (LOL).

I vote 'All' because if you have ever attended one of our division rival games it's very intense. When dog killer was leading the Falcons you could feel the intensity everytime as well as the Garcia led Bucs and of course the Drew Brees/Reggie Bush combo.....DAMN I can't wait till August. :yesnod:

Too easy! Come on, man. Pick one! You can do it. Someone has to be at the top. This ain't the SEC. j/k

In the division- Atlanta for sure. Their obnoxious fans incite fights every year and they are the only divisional team to have a winning record against us.

Outside the division- Cowboys. Hate em..... Hate em........ Hate em

Their fans are obnoxious as well.

I voted Falcons, because of the lingering animosity from the Vick years. I have a lot of respect for the Bucs and we've always kind of traded licks with them, but we've owned them (with exceptions) lately.

I know the Saints have put us out of the playoffs at least once, but over the years I don't feel they've been a huge competitor.

Come on man...they are all tough teams EVERY year but since dog killer and their fans have always left a bad taste in me and everyone talks about the I-85 rivalry I'll say Atlanta....we rarely come out ahead in the Georgia Dome and it's always tooth and nail everytime we play'em......Falcons it is. ;)

I would say the Falcons, for the team. The Vick years have left a deep grudge in the souls of both teams for each other - that's when the I-85 rivalry was at its most furious point. For that alone, the Falcons get the win.

In terms of the fanbase, I've noticed an unusually high number of people who detest the cowboys (though I wouldn't be surprised if everyone who isn't a cowboys fan hates the cowboys.) We've played them a number of times and there's quite a bit of angst at how some of those games ended.

The Saints and the Bucs are pretty obvious picks, but i say Falcons and Cowboys.
