Myck Kabongo PG, 2013 NBA DRAFT

this thread delivers.

of course it did.

Kemba struggled in three straight games vs bigger PGs (Teague and Westbrook) who are just as fast and quick as him.

Kemba is not a PG who controls a game. He's another 6th man shooter.

Everyone were making fun of me. Now check it out yourself.

Charlotte Nation loves Kemba, and hes been something special for this city but hes not a legit elite PG in the future. Just watch.

Fans are too afraid to admit something that they wont admit. People wanna believe that something is special (Kemba). I dont look at stats. I look at the game itself. Kemba doesnt evolve the game to another level. He just scores. Great PGs does more to a game itself than just scoring.

Still you I would guess, if you think Myck Kabongo would make up 40 points you are indeed the moron.

I never said Kabongo could make up 40 points. We havent even seen the kid on a NBA court yet. Whos the moron?

Im saying, we can def upgrade the PG position. Everyone and I loves Kemba but hes not that Chris Paul, Derrick Rose, Tony Parker, Rubio etc PG who makes everyone around him better. You dont build a team around Kemba. Hes another guy you build around someone else.

Kabongo is also not Rose, Paul etc... there is no one point guard worth picking up. The only decent one is Isaiah Cannan.

Kabongo is a Rondo.

Id take someone like a Rondo in a heart beat.

Kabongo will be a better game manager and passer who'll make plays for others at the next level compared to Kemba. Im not trashing Kemba's game, but hes not someone wholl make a team better when hes in the game. The Bobcats could win games without Kemba.

Chicago last year loss in the Playoffs without Rose, Clippers will not win without CP3, Celtics will not win without Rondo.

Look at the players around Rondo and CP3 though, we don't have guys like that.

No point guard except Kyrie would look good in CLT right now because we don't have a dominant shooting guard and we don't have a front court. It doesn't matter who your point guard is right now, the only way you will excel in this league is if you have great post players or superstars. We have neither. The front court is more important, we will not be drafting a point guard; it's not that hard to comprehend.

    • he has barely suited up for 50% of our games.  It matters pending how much of our cap and resources go that way.  If he cost in the ballpark of a Surtain? No thank you.  Let someone else  And as far we know what happens when we let talent walk away or trade them…..that’s a mixed bag.   should we of paid Norman, Bradberry at CB? They probably had earned the right to be called better than Horn at that moment of the decision.  Do we regret that? Do we regret Star walking? Can take it back to Spoon.  Flip side is probably Peppers.
    • We need to get better in the redzone. And yes that is an issue that involves all the moving parts. Oline receivers QB and playcalling. But Bryce himself has to lead the charge on that or surely we could face another blowout in one of these upcoming games. Every team no matter how good they are is going to face an opponent that imposes their will on them and requires the same in response. Those are the games where we have got to capitalize on drives. Honestly I get the sense that the Chiefs on some level overlooked us.  So while I am pleased we were as competitive as we were it certainly remains to be seen if this was the beginning for something new or just an anomaly. I think that's a perfectly fair take at this juncture.
    • He is a diva, even with Baltimore winning, he will cry and pout and ask to be traded. He cares about his numbers and stats for his next contract. Ironically, his best chance to showcase his ability was with us, now he is just an afterthought.
