He is still a big work in progress, but tonight you can saw a flash of what he can be. I dont know he will ever develope a post game but he set some amazing screens tonight, grabbed alot of boards, and cloged the lanes inside which freed up other guys to grab boards.

On D you saw what he can do. Another couple of seasons and he will be our starter.

He has had his games in the past and tonight that show what he is truly capable of. Really good defense, rebounding and strong scoring down low. When I worked for the bobcats last year, he was the hardest working player on the team by far. I didn't think he would ever come out of the gym. Just constantly working on his moves and shooting. I think between his experience, maturation, support from teammates and guidance from Dunlap he will become a very good player for us. He is just so young and raw right now. I think that is why Dunlap is giving him so many minutes right now. He sees his potential.

Trick with Biz is that he has to play within himself. He really needs his teammates to set him up properly, he often gets criticized when he ends up with the ball in his hands near the foul line with the shot clock running down, and he's forced to create something off the dribble.

That's not his game, not yet anyways, and it's important that the other guys on the floor keep him in a position to be successful.

Bismack has been disappointing to me this year, but I, along with many other fans probably expected a little too much out of him. I really doubt that he ever becomes much of an offensive threat, but if he can improve his fundamentals, rebounding, defense, and awareness of where to be on the court at all times -- well, I see no reason why he can't be a Tyson Chandler like player.

Searching for any Biz thread to post this.

We always talk about having Hakeem teach Biz but watching that video made me realize a few things.

1. Hakeem is better than any big we have even at his age

2. I miss post games in the NBA and definitely with the Bobcats

3. I can't see any player we have making those type of moves except MKG

I loved the Biz pick and still feel like he can be a great player for us. He teases me with an amazingly athletic move and then jumps in the air and falls down because someone sneezed on the first row. I know he is 20 yrs old and he can develop into something special but how do you all see Biz.

Starter on Playoff Team?

Role Player on Playoff Team?

Bust?

What do you all think his future stats will be?

Biz has disappointed me a ton. He's not very good defensively (although he is a good shot blocker), and he's not anything more than an average rebounder. He does get his fair share of offensive rebounds, but he's not even our best defensive rebounder and I feel like he should be.

    • Respectfully, I completely disagree. Last year we were:  32nd in Sacks. 32nd in Turnovers.  32nd in Rushing TDs allowed  29th in Scoring.  We were absolutely atrocious on defense last year and that was with a full stable of weapons in Derek Brown, Frankie Luvu and Brian Burns that played all 17 games.  Using yards per game as a metric to guage our success lacks the context that because our offense was so inept teams were not driving the length of the field, they were starting at their 40-50 yard line.  This year, our Defense ranks:  31st in Sacks. Tied for 19th in Turnovers  31st in Rushing TDs allowed 32nd in Scoring  His defense fails to get pressure, fails to turn the ball over and fails to stop the run. Three things you absolutely have to do to be successful in the NFL.  Denver meanwhile has not missed a beat without him.  If another team wants to hire him as a HC and the Panthers get two 3rds for it I'll wish him the best and pack his bags myself.
