what an awesome thing to do. glad to see he's putting his resources at work like that. people in the media may bitch about cam and smitty's personalities but, imo, it's stuff like this that puts them at the top. people call them immature, but this really goes against that, imo. the stuff on the field can be impressive, but this is what real men do. they use what they have and go out and help those in need without much in return.

Guys, I understand the sarcastic shots, but can we at least throw in a few genuine kudos as well? I'm glad to see that even when he struggles on the field Cam will still put in work in the community rather than hiding away.

fwiw, THIS is leadership. showing others that this is what you do when you have stuff that can make other people's lives a bit better, even for just a moment. for these kids, having cam newton serve them food and get to talk to him and have him even notice them is going to be a highlight of their life. should it be one? don't know. don't care. i just know that moments that i had with people i looked up to, even celebrities, are some great memories that i've had.
