Your top HC Candidates

I wanted Rob Ryan as HC, but if Rex Ryan is available, I would love to have him as a HC..

I am on the Ryan Bro bandwagon. Yeah people would say look at the Jets they suck, but the Ryan brothers know how to coach a DEF.

As of OC's. I am clueless, anybody but Chud and Jeff Davidson LOL.

We need an offensive minded head coach.

No more defensive guys.

This is my list of guys that I feel could really change things around for us and be a good coach.

1. David Shaw-

2. Chip Kelly

3. Nick Saban

4. Greg Roman

5. Tom Clements

6. Rob Ryan

1. David Shaw- I don't think he has enough experience to be a HC yet, IMO

2. Chip Kelly- Chud 2.0 on steroids. Not high on him.

3. Nick Saban- Pass, I don't think Cam and Saban would work together well.

4. Greg Roman- He would be a good candidate IMO, turned the SF into a decent offense.-

5. Tom Clements- Mike McCarthy calls the plays in GB not Clements. So No.

6. Rob Ryan- I like Rob, wanted him to be our HC before RR was hired.

Tom Clements as our HC is actually starting to grow on me a bit considering his pedigree for coaching QBs, look at the job he did with Aaron Rodgers and Matt Flynn. plus this factoid i found out about him is encouraging as well

between 2001 and 2003 with the Pittsburgh Steelers; under Clements’s tutelage, the Chiefs’ Elvis Grbac (in 2000) and the Steelers’ Kordell Stewart (in 2001) and Tommy Maddox (in 2002) each reached the Pro Bowl.

as well as this one (also from wikipedia)

In Week 17 of the 2011 season, after the Packers went 14-1, head coach Mike McCarthy chose to deactivate Rodgers to keep him healthy for the playoffs and start backup quarterback, Matt Flynn, on January 1, 2012 at Lambeau Field vs. the Detroit Lions, Flynn's second start in his career. Throughout the game, Clements worked with Flynn on the sidelines, showing him what to look for in the photos from the previous offensive series. Flynn had a record setting performance, throwing for 480 yards and 6 touchdowns, both single game records for the Green Bay Packers.

In my opinion i think Clements is doing a good job as the OC in GB this year and deserves a shot as a HC, and i think the panthers should finally look for an offensive, QB minded coach instead of a defensive minded one. Him and Shaw are my top two candidates for the job.

The only thing about Roman is that he doesn't call the plays for 49ers. Jim Harbaugh makes all the play calls. I also like Rob Ryan and I feel he can be a good HC. I think he can be better then his brother. When its time for us to pick a coach I think JR will stick to his gut and go after a DC. Rob Ryan has a good shot.

Say no to every OC that is working with a star QB. Say no to all DCs. The best candidate is one who has HC experience, either in the pro or college ranks. (Also NFL experience with college ranked HC is a plus) With all that in mind, the best candidate is David Shaw.

I'm with you, I'm done with Coordinators with no head coaching experience. I want a head coach whether it's college or pros, with that said;

David Shaw or David Cutcliffe

Today David Cutcliffe announce he will not leave Duke. I don't know but an opportunity at the NFL could change his mind. I don't know much about him but a lot of people mention him. At this point I really want to give David Shaw a shot.

I thought that Harbaugh and Roman split offensive play calling duties, I read something about it last year. But I can't find a link.

I think Teh Kurb is drunk because the Panthers lost.

*fixed*

And if Jerry Richardson doesn't wipe his ass with Ron Rivera's remaining 2.8 million contract and write Bill Cowher a blank check the Carolina Panthers will continue to be the NFL's door mat as they have been since 2008 Post season.
