the refs didnt throw the tying catch. the refs didnt throw the two point conversion. the refs didnt call tails on the coin toss. and the refs didn't leave a geriatric dallas clark wide open in the endzone to win it.

Or did they................................................................?

sorry to burst ya'll bubble, but the HIT was not legal, any direct shot to the head isn't legal, penalty wasn't called for helmet to helmet, it was called for shoulder to helmet.

Hate to burst your Bubble, The WR Ducking his fuging head INTO Thomas Davis.

The flag was so late because they were waiting for the WR to react.

He laid their like a fuging pussy until the flag came.

Bullshit like that flag is 100% part of the ruination of football as a whole, thanks to that fugbag Goodell.

If an ass kicking contest is held, and a participant is one legged, then I guess that person would have to jump, kick and then land on their one foot to have a successful go at it. If they were successful then they'd have to win, no question about it!

What cost us the game was the piss poor fuging prevent defense that they played the last 2 minutes.

That sealed it but what cost us the game was not being able to sustain a drive on our last offensive attempt. We got one 1st down and had to punt the ball off, giving them to much time. We have to be the worst at not seizing opportunities...

So we have an 11 point lead with 4 minutes left, and we lost because of the offense.

We have an 8 point lead with 1:20 left and and TB with 80 yards to go and we lost because of the offense.

We have a tie in overtime and never touch the ball and we lost because of the offense.

Wow...

If our offense could've keep that drive going for at least 3 first downs instead of runing dive run plays in the middle of the line for no gain, it would've taken more time off the clock as well as establish our stance and control. We gave them control by not converting when we had the opportunity to. When you get a change to put the game away, you do it, especially if all you have to do it convert. That was terrible playcalling on that drive. So YES, it came down to our offense on that drive, they couldn't get it done so we had to rely on our defense to hold them...and as I said our defense sealed it!

at teh end of the day, we lost the game....the refs were bad both ways.

I didn't like the medlock miss. There was no wind, the Bucs kicker made a similar kick form a similar distance later....Medlock just choked

No one is talking about the long doug martin runs we gave up on the last drive after containing him all game. That was the beginning of the end for me

Love this board. Calling it a pussy league, a pussy game, pussy Godell, pissed about a correct call on that play... yet want that Buc thrown out of the game for his knee shot on Cam, and call the Buc dirty for hitting our guy in the back later in the game. Who cares about player safety, right? Until it happens to a Panthers player of course. Christ. Homers are the absolute worst.

    • Agreed on the last part. They can’t afford to lose all these games with Martin and Perets.
    • Yes.  And this converts directly to confidence.  Does the coach have confidence to call a deep dig or seam route?  Does Bryce have confidence in his ability to be the Alpha?  Do his teammates have confidence.  About film--when I see Cam Newton's pre-snap confidence vs. Bryce's, it is night and day.   Film--tells you if the WRs are open (why l love watching the Replay telecasts from the end zone cameras--you can see it.  I have seen 2 WRs open and Bryce's eyes are on the outlet WR or the pass rush. )  You can see progressions, and he has improved a bit--but he is very quick to rush through 1 and 2 and checkdown--that is a lack of confidence in his ability to read the defense.  I had a former NFL TE (Deems Maye) who played QB in high school (not sure about college) tell me that the best QBs read the defense by knowing where everyone will be when the ball is to arrive--not where they are.  I think his QB at the time was Humphries.  He said that Humphries would throw the ball into coverage before the cuts etc.  because he understood DB momentum, zone areas, etc.  and he could just see it.  Said so when people say nobody was open, they are usually right because nobody should be "open" when the QB has the ball--when the ball arrives, everyone should be open.  He said Humphries was never "great" but his skills were limited--from a small school--but his ability to read a defense made him never give up on a route.
