i have said this alot this season. we really gamble alot, especially on 1st down and 3rd and 5 or so. many times we have thrown deep and just miss it.

its those underneath plays or screens that if we can get more of those we could keep the chains moving.

No. One is helping the QB become a better QB. The other is making him a sitting duck. I will take the 2 or 3 yards we get from a run under center then the 4-5 yard loss when we run from the shotgun.

I'm terms of effectiveness this year they are about equal in terms of production.

Need Gs and a decent option back.....and the read option is a mix in scheme that will be on the rise on the NFL. We have horrific G play and often use DeAngelo......and use it too much.

I think both sucks. You are putting to much on the QB plate having to control the pass game and running game. It takes away the attitude of the Oline with all these side ways and misdirection runs. Most Oline like to go straight a head. And Chud fug that up making the read option a base offense.

Mixed it in last year the 2nd half....worked great.

Washington mixes it in.....works great.

Anything will look bad if you do it too much and/or with inefficient bodies. Shanny runs it and even commented on overdoing it.

I don't mind you mixing it in but once you see it isn't working don't call it anymore in that game. I still want Cam to run a traditional offense like Freeman did today. Under center wearing a team defenses down.

Look at RGIII's stat line today mixing it in....and on the season. RGIII completed 14 of 15 passes for 4 TDs. 12 carries for 80 rushing as well.

Or as a play caller your not good at it and call it at the wrong time. Chud has lost his feel for the game and of his personal. Since the read option need so much to work even when you mix it in we need not use it until we have the pieces to run it. Not to mention the whole Jab step is hurting Cam mech.

I don't pay attention to the browns but on the surface this situation sounds eerily similar to chud and DA's second year together.
