A different way to interpret QB statistics

here is something people WONT WANT TO HEAR.

If Delhomme can get a SB under his belt, with his career stats and 4th quarter comebacks and previous SB performance he MIGHT have a chance to go into the HALL OF FAME some time in my lifetime.

Maybe about 15 years from now.....

thats considering him playing at least 3 more years and getting a SB- I think he would need a SB MVP to help as well.

Im a big Jake fan and all, but I dont think that he has any chance in hell of making it to Canton, unless he buys a ticket.

hmmm.... I dont know.

He already has 17,877 yds. You add 3 more years thats about 23,000 yards

you add that with a "possible" Super Bowl and a "possible" SB MVP and I wouldn't count him out.

ALSO- remember- this is considering his election at least 12 years or so from now. He would could be one of those guys who make it in 20 years from now. who knows.

Its amazing how many different kinds of stats can be manufactured in any given sport. I think the QB rating system is as bad as how assists are credited in the NBA now days, it's become meaningless. The ultimate criteria is success, as in wins, losses, playoff appearances...or lack thereof..
