A different way to interpret QB statistics

What a hilarious thread. The depths the Jake slurpers will sink to desperately prove that their man is awesome!

Yup, because any statistic which shows Jake isn't as bad as you think he is OBVIOUSLY has to be a biased statistic. Regardless of whether or not this was put together for someone else entirely...

You're just pulling things out of your ass though. "Let's add a point if they play well by my standards! Quarterback rating is the most important stat by my standards! A rating of 70 is bad by my standards! A rating of 100 is good by my standards!"

So if this analysis came up as Jake being bad you wouldn't disagree, correct?

Jake Delhomme has a career QB rating of 85.1. Exactly in the middle of your standards. Exactly where we've all put him for years. Frankly, I fail to see where your vicious hate comes from, but there's no denying it's there...

Ranking 7th in the league in something generally tends to show that you're awesome. That's in the top third in the league.

When he is ranked 17th all time, out of how many QBs? Thousands? 7th out of what 40-45?...doesn't seem out of place. But whatever, haters gotta hate. It's the only way you and your kind can feel important and special....

Games Delhomme has had to play without Smitty since he joined the Panthers other than 2004 when Moose was playing like Jerry Rice in his prime:

2006

vs. Atlanta: 21 of 39 for 186 yards, 0 TDs, 1 pick, 6 points scored total

at Minnesota: 17 of 33 for 181 yards, 0 TDs, 0 picks, 13 points scored total

2008

at San Diego: 23 of 41 for 247 yards, 1 TD, 0 picks, 26 points scored total

vs. Chicago: 12 of 21 for 128 yards, 0 TDs, 1 pick, 17 points scored total

Under 200 yards passing 3 of the 4 times, 1 TD/2 picks, 15.5 points scored on average, 2-2 record

That's the definition of mediocre. If anyone knows of any other game that Jake had to play sans Smitty, let me know.

lol

There is the problem.. You assume a lot of poo.. lol No wonder your having reading comprehension issues. (I really don't mean to diss, but this is eye opening)

Is it just me or is it funny you said Jake was 7th in the league?

Btw... Here's a little help..

The top third of the league is about tenth which is maybe a little above where most people with a brain and no agenda would put Jake (11-15ish) as a QB.

Jake Delhomme has a career QB rating of 85.1. Exactly in the middle of your standards. Exactly where we've all put him for years. Frankly, I fail to see where your vicious hate comes from, but there's no denying it's there...

hmmm.. I wonder how long these will go ignored? or talked "around"...

I don't remember ANYONE, EVER, saying Jake was elite/great/awesome/awesomer/awesomist.... Just sayin.

and damn, X-Clown can dig up some poo...

here is something people WONT WANT TO HEAR.

If Delhomme can get a SB under his belt, with his career stats and 4th quarter comebacks and previous SB performance he MIGHT have a chance to go into the HALL OF FAME some time in my lifetime.

Maybe about 15 years from now.....

thats considering him playing at least 3 more years and getting a SB- I think he would need a SB MVP to help as well.
