Panthers Bar in NYC?

Recommended Posts

Appreciate the invitation, but I am loud and break things.

Joking, will head to 3 sheets I think.  1/2 price beer sounds good.  Again, appreciate the hospitality

Not a problem.. The wife and I may have to check this 3 Sheets Saloon bar out.. Its sounds like enough of us would flood the place now that the NY Giant fans around town probably use their Sundays to walk their dogs or do crocheting or something..

I didn't read through the thread.

However, there's really no such thing as an "anybody bar" in NYC.

You just have to find a sports bar with multiple TV's/feeds, and just asked them to put it on the Panthers game if it's on.

Right now, since it's the playoffs; you'll find a Panther game on anyway.

Now, if you're looking for people who are partial to the Panthers in NYC; I can't help you there. Lol

That's in beautiful Park Slope; on lively, trendy, foodie 5th Ave. Why wouldn't he want to come there? Lol

yea thats my neighborhood, most tourists dont venture out to brooklyn though(other than walking the bridge).  it's an easy place to get to because it's at the atlantic/barclays stop where pretty much every train goes to.  each table has their own tv plus the 3 big screens and about 5 or 6 tvs behind the bar.

Okay, so if you got a table, they would allow you to watch any game, and the entire game if you wanted?

You may not notice it (not sure if you're a life long/long time New Yorker or recent entry), but many more tourist and outsiders are visiting, dining and moving to Brooklyn than many of us even realize sometimes.

You'd be surprised; especially in an area like 5th Ave in Park Slope. Great neighborhood/area/strip!

yea you have to get there on sundays before noon usually to get a table, not sure about the playoffs though but you can request any game for each table tv.  surprisingly, there are quite a few bbq places in the area: new dinosaur, pork slope, fort reno's, smoke joint in fort green, little brother in crown heights and down toward gowanus, Fletcher's.

Okay.

I didn't even know about the new Dinosaur. It's in Park Slope, Fort Greene, Downtown, Gowanus, South Slope, etc.(like I couldn't look it up myself)? So where is it? Lol

Thanks

One day I will have to head out that way... My neighbors took the wife and I to Brooklyn Bowl which had the best fried chicken I have ever tasted.. I am new to NY and reside in UWS..
